Practice, "" writing wine

When I first started covering California, it is safe to say most of the wine didn't know me or wine enthusiast (although it certainly has changed!). We were the new kid on the block, upstart. Like all the new kids, we had to prove to ourselves. It wasn't easy, but I was up for the challenge. I then deep into the study of Japanese traditional karate, going on my black belt. I knew what he wanted to prove to yourself: there was a fight. You had to dodge attacks, tackle and nimble, blows, be clever, and go on the offensive. You'd expect the unexpected. This was the way to win.

Then back — around 1993, 1994 – I knew what he meant by the Persians. It is intended to make the magazine respected. It meant making changes. But I, also, those things do not happen by themselves. This is too much to expect. There is a Japanese term ??????, do, meaning, approximately, the "way" or "path". When attached to the word "karate" (which itself means "empty hand"), makes the term "Karate-do", or the way of karate. (Area of research is called Dojo, where the practice is doing). Karate-do as opposed to "Karate-jitsu.""Jitsu" refers only to the technical aspects of karate. you can practice karate-Jitsu; you may even get a good one; but really reach heights of karate, you'll need to practice Karate-do.
By analogy, I realized that I needed to practice writing-do wine. wine path I, live life, give the Yin 110%, Buddhist sense should practice Zen meditation and other spiritual Arts in real Zen. (Zen Buddhist ??????, thought he had a profound influence on Japanese martial arts.)

What did practice do wine writing mean? The founder of modern Japanese karate-do, Gichin Funakoshi, wrote his famous twenty precepts before 100 years. These are the ground rules that govern the thought and behavior of karate-Ka or practitioner of karate. I started by applying its rules on my status. For example, # 9 States "restraint it would take the whole life to learn karate, is not unlimited." This helped me to realize that no matter how long you remain a disciple of the wine, is always more to learn. This is a good lesson in avoiding the things smugness. Precept # 5 is the wind ", a second technique first." means that the author may not be a technical expert wine, but what counts more than expertise is the spirit, passion, drive. Precept # 6 is "always be ready to release your mind".Karate, it means there are no fixed ideas, but to be fluid, supple, so you can respond to any external State wine writing, I linked to it on many things. Be on the road, for example, that can be angry, frustrated, even dangerous, but offers unparalleled opportunities for learning and building relationships. Release the brain also means understanding wine 20 can be better than wine for $ 80.

It is tied closely to the restraint # 4: "first know yourself before you try to know others." I have to earn the respect of the men and women of California for the wine enthusiast, first of all, meant to earn their respect for me, since I was in the public face of the magazine.Nobody will respect a person does not know himself.Instead, they understand it.

Do not go through each of the twenty precepts of Funakoshi, except to say that my favorite is # 12: "don't think that you have to win, it is important enough that you don't have to lose." are different. If you feel that you have to win, be aggressive, making a person too ambitious, unlikeable. If, instead, there is no need to lose, he makes you humble and grateful to all the small success which your way. it gives you the self-confidence to know, for all your limitations, you can do whatever you set out to do, because the gift of life gives each of us.
